DALLAS, TX, October 2, 2014 -- Piksel Faith, the newly re-branded religious division of global video provider Piksel, today announces that its Digital Signage (DS4) platform has been honored with the Worship Facilities New Product Award announced at the 2014 WFX Conference & Expo in Dallas, TX.
Piksel Faith’s VP of Sales, Alan Riley, was on hand to accept the honor. He commented, “We’re delighted that our digital signage solution, DS4, has been awarded such a prestigious prize at this important industry event, and we’re looking forward to assisting our customers in applying digital signage to their growing suite of tools to engage with their people. Our mission is to help churches streamline their communications while amplifying their message, and DS4 helps to facilitate this goal flawlessly. It combines digital media assets such as video and images with social feeds and other news so that churches can deliver messaging in real time to audiences at different sites as well as those on mobile devices.”
Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church will be one of the first churches in the U.S. to take delivery of the newly award-winning DS4 platform. Alan Newsome, Director of Mt. Bethel Media commented, “We’re excited to be working closely with Piksel on this important project in the beta test phase for DS4 digital signage with an open-house launch expected very soon.”
With 2 locations in Atlanta, and a flourishing Christian school, Mt. Bethel is a fast-growing ministry with a weekly attendance of 3000 at its location in Atlanta, GA, and an area campus attendance of 5,000. The church will add DS4 to the Piksel Video Platform for a robust solution that includes live, simulated-live, and VOD capabilities as well as a custom-built campus web page.
Piksel DS4 is a comprehensive online digital signage offering that allows churches to design, manage, store, and broadcast branded multimedia content. With a customizable and user-friendly interface, the DS4 platform publishes live content to a wide range of mediums including digital screens, directional signs, corporate Intranets and remote churchgoers’ Android or Windows mobile devices. With DS4, church attendees can be kept informed via live updates on vital information such as local traffic and weather updates, locations of meetings, bible study updates, and special events and services.
