- Piksel demonstrates the live streaming capabilities of its Piksel Video Platform that encompasses the Digital Church™
ATLANTA, GA, August 1, 2014 (Marketwired) — Piksel, a global provider of video monetization software and services, today announced it is sponsoring Lifeway’s ‘The Main Event’ men’s conference being held in Nashville, TN, at the Bridgestone Arena on August 1-2, 2014. The sponsorship is being driven by Piksel’s newly re-branded houses of worship division, Piksel Faith, and emphasizes the company’s longstanding work in empowering faith communities to extend their messages with video.
Led by the non-profit organization Lifeway Christian Resources, ‘The Main Event’ conference is held annually to inspire and challenge men from around the country, encouraging them to serve their communities and their families through the Christian faith. It draws roughly 10,000 men each year and delivers worship, humor, and challenging messages from an influential group of pastors and leaders.
Piksel Faith will demonstrate how it is enabling churches to grow and expand their ministries online by harnessing powerful live-streamed and pre-recorded videos. The sponsorship builds upon Piksel’s existing partnership with Lifeway, which is a Piksel customer.
“Lifeway is an important and well-respected organization within the Christian faith community, and we’re excited to support its annual men’s conference this year,” commented Alan Riley, Vice President of Sales, Piksel Faith. “’The Main Event’ serves as an invaluable platform for Piksel to connect with members of the faith community and show them how they can extend beyond the walls of their church with live streaming, video-on-demand, and smart television apps,” he said.
During the two-day conference, Piksel Faith will highlight its sophisticated live streaming capabilities that encompass its Digital Church™ offering, at the heart of which lies its Piksel Video Platform. In the last year alone, the Piksel Video Platform has streamed more than four billion views and 40,000 live events. In addition to live and on-demand video, the Digital Church enhances the mission of churches through a menu of applications including mobile apps, connected TV apps, and digital signage.
As a noted thought-leader of the faith community, Ed Stetzer will be providing a keynote on the second day of WFX 2014, a national conference aimed at church leaders and ministry technical directors. As with the Main Event, Piksel will sponsor and stream the live event, which will be held in Dallas, TX Sept 30-Oct. 2.
