AMSTERDAM, NL, SEPTEMBER 15th, 2014 -- Piksel, a global provider of video monetization software and solutions, today announced that Piksel Mosaic, its proof-of-concept application unveiled at IBC 2014, has won Newbay Media’s Best of Show award from TVBEurope. The awards honor outstanding products launched at the show and were announced today following judges’ booth visits over the weekend.

The winning application brings together all forms of content into one simple browsing experience, using a tile-based interface which retains an identical look-and-feel whether accessed on a TV, smartphone, laptop, desktop or tablet. Piksel Mosaic is built on context-based recommendations, intuitively pushing content to the user based on an understanding of what the user likes to access, when, and on what device.

Piksel Mosaic has been designed to take the pain out of content discovery in today’s connected world, which is seeing a rapid rise in the number of personal devices. By offering a hyper-personalized service to the individual, it recognizes that content choices are being increasingly driven by context.
